What is "chronic pain"?
Pain that continues or worsens over an extended length of time is referred to as chronic pain (an undesirable feeling of discomfort). During an injury or illness pain is your body's normal reaction to it. When your body starts healing, the pain usually decreases with time and eventually stops hurting. But Chronic pain is pain that lasts for a long time and does not minimize in a short duration of time— it can last for months or years. It can occur anywhere in the body. It's possible for the discomfort to be constant, continuous, or intermittent.Chronic pain can interfere with or affect your daily activities, such as working, having a social life, and taking care of yourself or others.
