It is deigned to help adults deal with the prolonged effects of trauma suffered during childhood. It works on the principle that trauma especially neglect can severely affect adult relationships. Therapist includes a narrative of the caregivers to help and address the desires of the child that are not fulfilled. The therapy is designed for people between the age of 3 to 21 who experience problem in adjusting with adoptive family and/or trauma. It is intended to enhance the quality of relationship between caregiver which are generally parents and other family members and children. This method is predominantly used as an approach, tend to focus on parent-child issues, related to attachment, such as: separation anxiety, issues related to abuse which cause traumatic stress and relational issues.
