From a psychological and counseling perspective, DEI significantly influences workplace wellness, fostering mental well-being and cultivating a positive organizational culture. This blog explores the psychological impact of DEI in the workplace and its role in enhancing employee well-being.
Understanding DEI in the Workplace
- Diversity refers to the presence of various characteristics within a workforce, such as race, gender, age, cultural background, abilities, and sexual orientation.
- Equity ensures fair treatment, opportunities, and resources for all employees by addressing individual needs and systemic barriers.
