frightening at this phase. You may be able to feel the release of the
buried emotions that were stored in your body throughout the years.
- Integration: The process of Integration lets you begin
to connect the various elements of your personal story. This is when you
connect various events that have occurred in your life and how they affect your
life. It is also a time to let go of yourself and other people for things
that have been a part of your life.
- Resolution: With Resolution, you'll
feel the feeling of having closure on the issues addressed during the first
therapy. It is possible that you're now free from the burden of your past
and free from the burden of emotional pain that is unsolved.
Process of Primal Therapy
Under
the supervision of qualified professionals, victims of trauma are advised to
recall the painful episode(s) which caused the trauma. As memories of
traumatic circumstances come up, Primal Therapy practitioners believe that the
pain that is associated with them appears on the surface. The clients are
instructed to let the pain surface, feel it, feel their emotions (toward the

beginning the therapy.
3. Despair: The client
enters to a distinct point of hopelessness and profound aloneness in the world.
4. Acceptance: The client
begins to accept the painful reality of early life--that did not receive nearly
enough sustenance and support.
5. Expansion: The Client looks
inward and discovers a sense of greater personal insight, power, and
overwhelming compassion, emanating from inside.
6. Integration: The client gives
value to recently discovered feelings of personal power and compassion are now
integrated into the personality, discovers how to live from this new identity.
7. Disengagement: The client now
feels quite stronger, clearer, and more wholesome, complete, and is not any
more dependent on the therapy.
It
is the place where the familiar imagery of Primal Therapy becomes
