MRS. SWATI CHANDRA
An NCERT certified counsellor having 8 years of experience of dealing with students and young adults with diverse needs and assisting them in reaching their optimal level of psychosocial functioning. Has been working as an Academic counsellor for the courses -M.Sc. in Counselling and Family Therapy (MSCCFT) and Certificate Course in Guidance (CIG) with IGNOU, Delhi since last 7 years. She is a certified CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and Mindfulness practitioner. Also has a certificate in Psychological First Aid from John Hopkins University for providing grief counselling. She uses Behaviour, Gestalt and Family Therapies for the people facing anger, relationship and anxiety issues. Empanelled as a tele-counsellor with Manodarpan, an initiative by Ministry of Education, Government of India for providing psychosocial support to students during COVID outbreak and beyond. Has administered Aptitude and Interest tests on more than 300 students in order to assist the students in their immediate and long term educational and personal goals. Has participated as a panelist in NCERT’s live telecast program “SAHYOG” to help students during COVID’19 and “Guidance for Students-Exam Helpline” a live discussion program on Swayamprabha Channel, an initiative by NCERT during Board exam.
